On playing the tape we realised it was over 50 years old and I heard voices of family members who were long gone, some of whom I did not ever meet.  It brought a tear to my eye to hear their voices, not of sadness, but pleasure to hear them laughing and re-counting stories of the time, grandma as a women my age, mam is a little girl...many more....

Inspiring me to create this idea.

Relax & Speak from the heart.  The most common mistake is to mumble, talk to the floor &/or talk at a million miles an hour...worst of all...doing them all at once!

Speak up & slow down, & you'll leave the perfect message.

It may simply be a message of congratulations, something funny

or you may recount a memorable story personal to you

&/or the Bride & Groom.  Think of your message as a gift, as well as your own special contribution to the day. Above all, enjoy yourself. If you're having a good time, and are speaking with goodwill, you cannot fail to leave a wonderful memorable message.

Example

Introduce yourself

e.g. “Hi I’m Samantha the Bride’s sister”.

or

“Hi its Great Uncle James & Auntie Margaret from Canada,

the Grooms side of the family”.

Record your message

e.g. “I have loved the day sis, thanks so much for making me Chief Bridesmaid...you would have been in trouble if you hadn’t!  Looking forward to the rest of the evening & the peace

when you go on honeymoon, only joking! Bye & thanks”.

or

“We have really enjoyed the day.
